eveytime i buy an anime series and its english, mainly i just switch the audio
but when there's no subs, thats where it bites and i got no choice but to watch it in english.

or a love anime, There's ton of tragic moments
most tragic i've seen was in Ichigo 100%(manga)
where Toujou and Satsuki got turned down by manaka

i do, when a character gets really hard to draw, i simply pause the anime with the image of that character and draw it

Yes, i tried learning japanese while watching anime, and it was hard to remember cuz i never use the language. Learning japanese in a language class is probably better

Many people who watches anime mainly depicts on the storyline, and how good's the show. Like u said, Slam dunk is not above average in graphics but the anime's good. But people mainly look at the reviews first before watching it. Unless they're Otakus who just download random anime and just watch it

To me, no anime/manga has ever beaten ichigo 100%(manga) in love/tragic series besides air and fruits basket(manga)

they both got great endings BUT i still wanna watch more of it
elfenlied had an OVA but no relation to the end of the anime

you should use bittorrent if its that hard
the only thing i found hard is when animes go licensed and i can't find them

mainly ichigo 100%, the rest are animes i've seen thats good quality. I got a naruto calendar and the rest are my gundam figurines.
